QR Code Information

Have you seen one of these, chances are you have! These are called a QR (Quick Response) code. Basically it is a 2 dimensional bar code. Information can be easily transmitted to your device by scanning this code with your device's camera. The information transmitted may include a URL, text message, SMS, telephone number, Outlook contact (VCARD), Google maps location and many more things.

To use the QR Codes you are required to have a QR reader installed on your device. The Android comes with a reader installed. For the iPhone you must install the free app from the iTunes app store by searching for QR Reader. Refer to your device's owners manual to determine if you device is cable of using the codes.
